“LABS was born from the idea that expanding the adapted sport movement would require uniting those within the industry as well as reaching beyond it,” said Dawna Callahan, founder and CEO of All In Sport Consulting. “We have worked very hard to develop a powerful and thought-provoking agenda with that goal in mind, and are excited about the connections, conversations, and progress this event will enable. In addition, we look forward to sharing the results of the first Adapted Sport Economic Impact survey. This initial survey provides a solid foundation to better understand our industry’s impact and influence in the overall U.S. sport economy. We look forward to building on this data in years ahead.”
All In Sport Consulting teamed up with Huddle Up Group and professional national research agency Stitch Marketing Research to conduct the first-of-its-kind study earlier this year. The resulting data will be presented at LABS for the first time along with a discussion on how industry professionals can best utilize these early insights while working with fellow sport brokers in communities across the country.
LABS was created to complement versus compete with current adapted sport industry conferences, but is unique in its level of disability representation. Callahan, an adapted sport industry athlete herself, along with many of the other speakers bring authentic “lived” experience complemented by professional experience to the conference.
